Public Health

The Sullivan County Health Department offers public health services to county residents, including those in Milan, Green City, Green Castle, Winigan, Reger, Humphreys, Osgood, Harris and Newtown, Missouri.

We offer Public Health Services, such as monthly injections, with a written physician’s order.  Tuberculosis testing by appointment is available for $20.00 per test.

Pregnancy Testing

Pregnancy testing is available free of charge. Contact us to schedule an appointment.

STD and HIV testing

We offer free blood testing for Hepatitis C, HIV, and Syphilis. We also offer free urine testing and treatment for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea.  Educational materials are available to all guests upon request.

Lead and Hemoglobin Testing

We offer finger stick sampling for Hemoglobin and lead testing.

• No charge for Hemoglobin testing
• Lead testing is $15 unless the client has Medicaid

DNA Testing

DNA testing is available with a referral from a caseworker.

CPR Training

 CPR training classes give you the information and the skills you need to help adults, children, and infants during cardiac emergencies.
